Charles found an issue with the validation code – it was requiring a subject even when the subject field was disabled.
A fix has been made and uploaded to the WordPress plugin repository. You should see the update available shortly.

Also, I’d like to know how you send the emails. They don’t really get sent for me. However, it’s not related directly to your plugin because it happend on a few forms I tried (so far only “Tiny contact form” sends it). I receive the WP moderation emails without problem. Do you have an idea what the problem could be? I don’t have access to mail logs. Thanks.
I’m having the exact issue. I send the e-mails and they don’t actually go through. I’m not sure why it’s not working as I did everything in the installation instructions. Please let me know if there is anything that you can see that I need to change.
@Charles & @Chip Simpson – have you tried removing the @ from the mail command in the smcf_data.php file? That would print any errors to the browser. If that doesn’t result in anything, the issue is probably with your server configuration.

I’m planning on using this great plugin for a new tourism website, and I have a question:
Is there any way I can parse the value for smcf_to_email via the URL?
I am planning on letting the sites visitors email the businesses in my guide directly from a contact form, and that would normally mean I have to create hundreds of forms. If there was an easy way of defining smcf_to_email in the URL syntax, that would be of great help.

@Lasse – there are a ton of different ways to approach this. It is something that I will consider adding as a feature in a future version.
